Established in 1990, serving Wootton Bassett, Purton, Cricklade, West Swindon and the surrounding villages, Tydemans Home Care agency in Wiltshire is registered and certified by the Commission for Social Care Inspection for the provision of care in the home.

Staff are recruited and trained to ensure the highest standards of service. References are obtained and Criminal Records Bureau checks carried out prior to employment. All staff are covered by public and employee liability insurance.

We are able to provide a wide range of services to cover most domestic situations. Our objective is to deliver a quality, best value personal care service to the elderly, infirm or disabled allowing them to stay in the comfort of their own home.

The extent of the home care provided can range from half hour basic calls to more complex arrangements involving multiple daily visits, assisting with personal care and daily living needs, often in conjunction with other professionals in the medical and psychiatric fields. Our care services also include help to get up or go to bed, shopping, and other domestic tasks.

A wide range of equipment, at very competitive prices, is stocked at or available to order from our retail outlet at 5–7 Merchant House, 34A High Street, Wootton Bassett. Items available include wheelchairs, walking frames and sticks, bath seats and rails, commodes, incontinence pads, grabbers, seat raisers, specialised crockery and cutlery, tablet boxes, needle–threaders, kettle tippers and many other items specially designed to facilitate and promote independence.
